Time Vehicle Tracking – unit records and transmits GPS
data (location, speed, mileage etc) to the internet so you can
retrieve live information or run history reports at any time
from any computer.
Passive Vehicle Tracking – place device in vehicle and it will
record GPS data (location, speed, mileage etc). Data may be
retrieved using a wireless connection or USB connection.
There are multiply devices available on the market. Some of them are
operated by batteries, others should be hardwired directly to
the vehicle. Hybrid systems (hard connection plus battery
backup) are also available.

for Real Time Tracking vary from about $20 to $70 per month
for unlimited use. Some providers offer limited plans based on
locates or pings.
Passive Vehicle Tracking Service Plans
Good thing
about Passive Tracking - there is no service plan associated
with device. However, in most cases Passive Tracking is
suitable only for short term performance - limited to battery
life. There are devices that could be hardwired to the

will have to connect actual unit to the computer through USB
